Redesign of Curriculum Study Program S1 Aquaculture
Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Affairs (FPK) Airlangga University again held activities Curriculum Redesain 2017 Study Program S1 Aquaculture. The five-year event took place at Hotel Swiss Berlin Surabaya on 21-22 April 2017 and attended by all lecturers of FPK.
Redesign Curriculum Activity is guided by the Chairman of Aquaculture Study Program Dr. Kismiyati, Ir., M.Kes as moderator and opened by the Dean of Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Affairs Prof. Dr. Mirni Lamid, drh., MP. at 19:00 pm. In his speech, the Dean of FPK conveyed the importance of the 2017 Curriculum Redesign event to prepare for international accreditation and certification of Asean University Network (AUN).
This activity is also a follow-up of the meeting with stakeholders em> which was held on 5-6 April 2017 to produce graduates in accordance with market needs and able to compete in the world of work. In the Curriculum Redesign activities this time, there are several subjects that were raised covering the presentation of the stages of curriculum preparation of Study Program, description of KKNI level 6, bloom’s taxonomy em>, achievement of graduate learning (CPL) by Dr. Endang Dewi Masithah, Ir., MP “The determination of courses that support CPL should be based on the subjects contained in the Semester Learning Plan (RPS) and courses that do not support CPL Study Program can be eliminated” said Dr. Endang as Vice Dean I FPK.
Further exposure of the stakeholder input was presented by Vice Dean III Wahju Tjahjaningsih, Ir., M.Si. In his presentation, he reminded that the profile of FPK graduates should have the ability to be a Researcher, Lecturer, Manager, em> and Entrepreneur. em> The event continued with plotting em> courses that support CPL led by Secretary of Aquaculture Department. Ir. Woro Hastuti, M.Si. The learning achievement of FPK graduates consists of 4 elements, namely attitude, special skills, general skills and knowledge. Activity on the first day was conducive until 22.00 WIB
On the second day at 08.00 WIB, Curriculum Redesign activities 2017 resumed with the agenda of change of course position on curriculum structure and addition and reduction of study load (SKS). Substitution of the course position is adjusted to the achievement of graduate learning (CPL), KKNI level 6 and bloom’s taxonomy em> where it supports the Faculty targets to produce graduates with a proper study period of 4 years. There are some subjects that replaced his position such as the course of Technology of Fishery Product which initially became the subject must be changed into the elective course in the even semester and change the name of the course eg Fish Disease II Analysis replaced with Viral Fish Disease. The event was closed by the Dean on 22 April 2017 at 15.00 WIB
